“What think ye of Christ?” — Parenthesis at Camp Hope, Georgia, May 26-28, 2017.
Primary speaker—Keith Trevolt, Wichita, KS.
Spring-boarding from our first Parenthesis, we’re taking a step closer to the throne, as we look into the person of Jesus Christ.
In addition to platform speaking from our brother, Keith Trevolt, What think ye of Christ will employ Inquiry Bible Study Method—deep dives into key passages in small group Breakdown Sessions—led by brethren familiar with both the passages and the Inquiry Bible Study Method.
Bobby Glendinning will once again lead music from behind the piano (a feat that is something like juggling while riding a bicycle). Expect a mix of hymns, psalms, and spiritual song … as well as camp songs and choruses. You’re encouraged to bring your instrument and take part in the Saturday evening Hymn Sing and Blue Grass Jam.
Sunday morning, we’ll gather to remember the Lord, as He commanded.
The cost is $97 per person. This covers two nights’ lodging and five meals. You’ll have the opportunity to share in the work and have fellowship with the speaker(s), via a gift box (available all weekend), as well as the offering at the Lord’s Supper.
Camp Hope overlooks Pony Lake, in Dahlonega, GA (about an hour north of Atlanta). So, it’s accessible to just about everyone.
We are tweaking the specifics of the program. So check back with this site. Or join the mailing list.
